In 2012, founder Mike Brown created the formula and roasting process for Death Wish Coffee. He wanted a strong, bold and smooth cup, made with high-quality ingredients. We live to rebel against blah beans.

We use a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans that are carefully roasted to deliver a bold, yet smooth cup with an extra kick of caffeine. We typically recommend using 2.5 Tbsps. of coffee for each 6oz of water, though feel free to use your usual brew method and adjust from there. For a full pot, we recommend a 1:10 coffee-to-water ratio.

Our coffees are free of any nut or gluten allergens and are produced in facilities with no possibility of cross-contamination. Our Core Roast and Single Serve Cups include Dark Roast with subtle undertones of dark chocolate and black cherry, Medium Roast with subtle undertones of stone fruit and caramel, and Espresso Roast with subtle undertones of caramelized sugar. All feature a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans.

Our Naturally Flavored, Single Serve Cups include Vanilla with a warm, rich vanilla rounded out by notes of smooth, yet bold coffee, Chocolate Hazelnut with toasted hazelnut and rich fudge blending with a smooth coffee profile, and Blue and Buried with homemade blueberry jam, luscious vanilla and sweet Vietnamese cinnamon. These medium roasts use Fair Trade Arabica and Robusta beans.
